This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Paluma Plus, the optional paid subscription offered by Paluma Labs within the Paluma app.
How purchases are made
Paluma Plus is sold and billed exclusively through Google Play. All payments are processed by Google under your Google account. Paluma Labs does not collect, process, or store your card or payment details, and we cannot see your full payment information.
Free plan
Paluma is free to start and you can use the free plan without paying anything. There is nothing to cancel or refund on the free plan.
Auto-renewal
Paluma Plus is a recurring subscription. Unless you cancel, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as you chose) and your Google account is charged the then-current price. Prices may vary by region and may change; any change applies to future billing periods and Google will notify you where required.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your Google Play account — open Google Play → Subscriptions, select Paluma Plus, and tap Cancel. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. When you cancel, you keep Plus access until the end of the period you have already paid for; it simply does not renew after that. See Google’s guide on cancelling subscriptions.
Refunds
Because payments are processed by Google Play, refunds are governed by Google Play’s refund policy. Subscription charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at Google’s discretion, but you can request a refund directly through Google Play:
- Visit Google Play — Get a refund and follow the steps for your purchase.
- Eligibility, timelines, and approval are determined by Google under their policy and your local consumer-protection laws.
We want you to be happy with Paluma. If you were charged in error, had a technical problem, or need help with a Google Play refund, email us at support@palumachat.com within 7 days of the charge and we’ll do our best to assist and advocate on your behalf with Google.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
