Yes, and there are no ads. You can discover characters, chat as much as you like on the free model, and create without paying. The free plan includes unlimited free-model chats (fair use applies), 15 premium messages a day, up to 50 characters, 5 personas, and standard memory. Paluma Plus is optional at $8.99/month or $89.99/year (about $7.50/month) for virtually unlimited premium messages, deeper memory, Glimpse scene images, and up to 500 characters and 50 personas.

Not at all. You can open a character and simply start talking. If you want to create one, Paluma guides you through their card, personality, and opening scene before you publish. No code or giant prompt box required.

No. Paluma has no ads on the free plan or on Plus, and we do not sell your chats or use them for advertising. The app is supported by the optional Paluma Plus subscription.

Your chats are private. They are not posted on your profile or searchable. Paluma processes them automatically to generate replies, keep your history, build and retrieve memory, and run safety systems. Third-party AI services process the parts needed for those jobs. Staff do not browse your chats; a person may see a specific message only if it is reported or part of a serious safety investigation. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.

Yes. Build a character with the guided creator flow, publish them privately to chat with them yourself first, then make them public to share with the community whenever you are ready. You can also keep drafts private and use your own personas.

Paluma is currently going through closed testing on Android. The next step is the public Google Play launch, with iPhone, iPad, and web to follow. Choose the platforms you care about when you join and we will email you when Paluma becomes available there. Android users can also volunteer for possible beta access. Paluma is an 18+ product.

You will get a 7-day Paluma Plus Launch Pass with no card and no automatic renewal. You can also choose platform launch updates, volunteer for Android beta testing, and use your referral link to move up the line. Founding Members are separate: the first 50 people who actually subscribe to Plus earn that status.
